How does trapezius Botox treatment work?
Two main types of patients are suitable for Trapezius Botox. The first type is what we call the functional patients. Upper back and shoulder pain are one of the reasons patients attend clinics for trapezius botox. By relaxing the trapezius muscle it releases the tension and reduces the tight neck and shoulder pain people can get. It is highly effective and long-lasting when compared to repeated rounds of physics and massage.
The second type of patient has the treatment for more cosmetic results. It is very much a female treatment for cosmetic purposes, although we do treat some male patients, the male anatomy is suited to having thick strong muscles in the trap area.
